We are expecting our second baby September 1st!
So so sorry! I can't believe it has been a month since we have updated. It has been a rough one as we have all been sick. But, we are back now - my apologies!
Cody is doing fantastic! This week he turns 9 months old and he is right on schedule with everything. He crawls so fast that we have had to install baby gates and close doors. He has learned to pull himself up to a standing position - which at times can be scary! He does the best in his pack & play, but will use your pants if he chooses. This can be bad if your pants are loose!
His love for music is really coming out. He has no preferences, loves it all. I will put some classical on for him during the day and then when Daddy comes home, it becomes punk. He is being exposed to everything.
Bath time has gotten to be crazy! When the appropriate time comes for swim lessons - he is going. He just loves the water. Has no problem with it getting in his face either. He laughs and plays. It really is a fun time for him.
We need more pictures of him! Here are a few from our visit to Florida. The beautiful girls in the pictures are my nieces.

It is exhausting for me! Not only does he crawl, but he moves so fast. It is hard to keep up with him - especially when he starts chasing cats. Nothing that interesting to tell right now, except for the fact that we are leaving for Florida tomorrow night. Cody will have his own seat - like a big boy - and hopefully he will be able to see out the window. We'll have lots more to tell when we get there!

I blinked and he was across the living room. Literally! He has progressed from army crawling (on his belly) to FULL OUTRIGHT crawling.
Watch out world... CODY IS MOBILE!

Poor little Cody had to deal with a big green ball sucking out the life out of him this morning. Then he got oiled up, some liquid candy and a bottle. And he slept a good 15 hours. Sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching....uh, can't give a baby Nyquil. No tissues either. So hard to see a baby coughing and sneezing, and there really isn't much you can do to make it go away. Just have to make him comfy and safe and ride it out....
