Mr. Trouble!

It is exhausting for me! Not only does he crawl, but he moves so fast. It is hard to keep up with him - especially when he starts chasing cats. Nothing that interesting to tell right now, except for the fact that we are leaving for Florida tomorrow night. Cody will have his own seat - like a big boy - and hopefully he will be able to see out the window. We'll have lots more to tell when we get there!

I blinked and he was across the living room. Literally! He has progressed from army crawling (on his belly) to FULL OUTRIGHT crawling.

Germies got him...

Poor little Cody had to deal with a big green ball sucking out the life out of him this morning. Then he got oiled up, some liquid candy and a bottle. And he slept a good 15 hours. Sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching....uh, can't give a baby Nyquil. No tissues either. So hard to see a baby coughing and sneezing, and there really isn't much you can do to make it go away. Just have to make him comfy and safe and ride it out....

Cody Loves Florida

And he wants to go back! So we are going for a week at the end of this month. I will take plenty of pictures. Not only will he get a chance to see Grandma and Grandpa Anderson, but he will also see Grandma and Grandpa Wagner, who will be on their way to the Keys!

I found this picture I took on one of the last days of our Christmas vacation. He loved this exersaucer. It was one his grandparents bought for his cousin Jordan when she was a baby. She's 8 now!

Bath time keeps getting better!

I remember the day we put Cody in his first bath; the rainforest infant tub on the countertop in our Florida house. He wanted nothing - nothing - to do with that. In retrospect, I do not think that it was the bath, I think it was the temperature of the bath. My son is exactly like me - he loves his bathwater HOT. Since he has now figured out how to sit up by himself without falling over, we have retired his little bathtub - and he is free to play with his new toys in the tub!!

I am making some changes to the cosmetic part of the blog, so if something is screwy....well, I promise I will fix it!

So sorry we have not updated the blog - it has been a very hectic holiday season! We had Christmas in Iowa, Michigan and Florida this year - and Cody has racked up 4000 miles of driving time! What a trooper!
