Cody got in and out of his chair all by himself (sniff sniff) - he is growing up so fast! Oh, and check out the hair! His is finally growing!
Cody's face lights up like the 4th of July when he sees this goofy sponge. It is his favorite character on TV. He knows the show is coming on when he hears the pirate!
I thought I would try making a cake like him for his birthday, but I think it would end up on cakewrecks. So I am going to try and hunt down a bakery cake for him somewhere.
My son likes a sponge. Hmmm. Well, I guess he is kinda cute.
He kept grabbing the bowl and the spoon - so I just decided to let him have a go at it! He had a great time, but I now have more laundry.
What a nice night we had last night...a new grill, some good dinner, time with the boy. And a thunderstorm was coming - the air smelled like spring and rain - and there was a bit of lightening making the sky sparkle. Cody wanted to help Daddy put the new grill together. He was a very efficient helper!

Cody spent his first Easter weekend in Marquette, Iowa (on the river bank of the Mississippi). We had a great time in this tiny little town. We stayed at an old saloon (and with it being off-season, we had the whole place to ourselves!). Aside from the massive amount of ladybugs taking up residence, we had a very nice time. Here are some pictures!
