Cody's 4 Months old / Horoscope - Sept 08

We found his Gemini horoscope for the day of 9/27 in the Des Moines Register.

"You're as versatile as Silly Putty. You're not only able to lift whatever image or lingo you're pressed against but also able to be formed and bounced into whichever situation seems fun to play in."
Cody is only 4 months old and already he has been to a beach, seen a cornfield, driven through the mountains, stayed in a fancy hotel and a Super 8, and met a bunch of democrats and republicans! And he keeps on smiling and keeps on playing. He is our sweet, good-natured little boy.

Happy 4 months old baby boy!

My Day!!!!

MUST MUST cram new toy in my MOUTH.

Why can't I get it in there?? What's wrong? I have no teeth to block it!!

I need to CHEW on this TOY! Let me grip it really tight and maybe it will get smaller!

FORGET IT - I DON'T WANT TO CHEW ON IT ANYWAY!!

MOMMY AND DADDY took me to Hardees to make me feel better. Too bad I have no teeth,

What a DAY! I am POOPED!

Flyin...on a jet plane....

Mommy bought us tickets to fly on an airplane to Florida to see the alligators! I can't wait - we leave on October 18th and come back on the 24th. She also said we were seeing my pediatrician - but I don't know what that is! Hope it is as fun as the ocean!!!

Fun Toys!!!

I got some new toys!!!!

I have a big blue puppy that I love so much. He goes everywhere with me. He is the best thing in the world. I also have these fishes that are attached to my car seat! I can sit there all day long and play with them! Sometimes when I hit them hard enough they make music...like my waterfall soother in my bed!

Here's me with my toys!

Hi - it's me, Cody

Mommy has been too busy taking care of me in our new home so I have decided to hijack the blog for a little while and post my own stuff! Right now I want to show off my new toy - Mommy and Daddy bought it for me last weekend. It is a Baby Einstein exersaucer - and it takes up half the living room! The kitty cats are both scared of it and intrigued by it. I caught them sniffing around it today, so I had to try it out before they peed on it or something equally heinous.

I sort of like it, I am sure I will like it better when I can sit up straighter and for longer times. I sat in it today and banged my little hands on the flashy lights. I made a good racket! Here -check me out! Oh - and if you are reading this, send me a comment! I need to brush up on my reading skills before my English major mommy breaks out the old Dr. Seuss!

CIAO for now!!!!!!!!

Big Boy!

I like this picture...

Holding a bottle?

I can't believe how big my baby is getting! He has started holding his bottle, albeit for such short periods of time. He just continues to amaze me. Here he is holding his snack bottle full of cereal.

It's starting

The start of football season. I have never heard Cody squeal in delight like today when the Cowboys came on. The Lion loving Daddy did not like that....

Well...

Baby Einstein has saved my sanity.
Must buy more.

A little update from the bitter cold... ok, not that cold...yet.

It has been quite some time since I posted anything of interest here- my apologies! We have been so busy setting up house here in Iowa. Plus, last weekend we spent time in Michigan for Cody's dad's football draft and visiting with family. After almost 24 hours of driving on our trip up north, Cody spent another 20 hours in the car. He is such a trooper. We now call him...

We had a great time visiting with everyone in Michigan and we hope to get out there for Christmas this year. We are going to try and go to NJ to visit my family at Thanksgiving.

Here are some updates on our boy! He is now 3months and 1 week old. About 27 inches, and we are thinking about 15 pounds. He sleeps every night for about 10 hours! He loves sucking his thumb and has found a new friend, Mr. Puppy... a gift from Uncle Mark, Aunt Lisa, Tess and Kara.

Also... Cody is now the king of crazy pigeon noises. We love it!
