Where in the world is Cody?

Champaign Illinois.

Well... this trip has not exactly been ideal. I am exhausted, frustrated, and utterly frazzled. There are no pictures of Cody in front of anything ! He spent the first day screaming the whole way. He spent the second day (today) sleeping. Thanks God for small favors.

We are just a few hundred miles from our destination. I hope and pray I get there... sane and intact.

Driving in two cars, with a 10 week old and 2 cats, has not been very fun.

I have discovered something... Cody likes heavy metal music and.... gospel music. Both seem to calm him down.

And the question of the day... WHY are there billboards of religious quotes next to ones advertising we bare all and cater to couples? Interesting world we live in....

Been a while since I have been on a road trip!

Heading Out... Goodbye Florida!

Well, the time has come. We are putting the last of the crap..oops, I mean stuff, in storage and now we are packing up the cars. Cody is watching his baby Einstein video and giggling, so at least we can move quickly. Our first stop is around Macon Georgia... so hopefully we will get there before bedtime. I will update more when we get there!

Oh Holy Corn Stomping Batman

I simply CANNOT comprehend all the cr*p we have accumulated over the years - and I have to put 95% of it into storage and the rest has to fit in my SUV and my husband's sports car for our car trip to Iowa. Cody's stuff takes priority... so I will probably be walking around Iowa naked because I couldn't fit my clothes in the car.

Wish us luck !! We are leaving bright and early Thursday morning. Since I got the laptop fixed, I will be logging in and posting updates of our roadtrip as well as pictures of Cody in front of tourist attractions.

Does anyone know where the biggest ball of yarn is?

We are signing off for a few days....

We are now dismantling this computer and equipment for the move - so we will be signing off for a few days. Hopefully we will have the laptop up and running by the time we leave, so we can update the blog with the progress of our drive up north. I want to take pictures of Cody in front of all the "Welcome to X State" signs on our way. We have 1400 miles to drive - I really hope it will be uneventful and the baby won't have too much trouble. Maybe he will sleep all the way... we can only dream.
