Today we went to the doctor and had shots. Ok, I didn't... I had those shots a heck of a long time ago. But I think it hurt me more now than it did then! It was so hard watching that poor little baby turn purple and scream louder than a banshee (what exactly is a banshee?). But he made it through like a champ...and is now sleeping off the high from the liquid rotorooter vaccine.
A little stat report for those of you keeping count... he now weighs 13.3lbs, is 25 inches long and is in perfect health. His percentile for height and weight and head circumference is 97%. We don't have to go back until the end of October.
All in all - it was a good visit.

Cody wants to live in the snow
So he has asked us to move to Iowa. And being the pleasing parents we are, we have given in to his demands and will be heading to the snowy white north in just a few short days...
I suppose this means we have to buy winter coats and develop an unnatural attraction to corn?

Tummy Time
Cody has been doing well with his neck strength... we have been using the blanket Uncle Mark and Aunt Lisa sent him to do our afternoon "tummy time" with his toys. He has a lot of fun, I get a few minutes to breathe and the cats get to sniff around him without getting slammed in their heads by his wicked hard baby punches!
